β§ ONE YEAR OLD β§
365 days ago I did my first tattoo. I was terrified, it took 3 hours, and itβs still there!
Since then, Iβve met so many beautiful people, spent hundreds of hours painting, created a scary amount of paper waste (sorry trees) and continue to pinch myself because younger me wouldβve SCOFFED if I told her where weβd be now.
Given Iβm not great at ooey-gooey posts, Iβve ran the numbers. Over the last year:
- 302 tattoos done
- 53% of those were on arms
- 58% were black and grey
- 102 pieces were chosen from my very own flash
- 50+ flash sheets painted
- 56% were for people Iβve never met before
- Kody, Kit, Bing, Lachie, Rahj, Matt and Jem all returned to hang with me five or more times
I cannot begin to express my appreciation to every single person who has come in, chatted and trusted me with their skin, as well as every artist whoβs spent their time talking with me - I couldnβt have done any of this without YOU!
Of course, Iβm forever grateful to the team at Conspiracy for guiding me through every hour of every day.
